About Me

Long day ridin’ fence

I grew up ranching and raising Texas Longhorns in Eastern Oregon, past semi-pro bull rider, Navy veteran of 9 1/2 years, and currently running my own mobile farrier service in Eastern Washington.  I also worked at the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab in the past, where I learned a lot and have been able to keep a finger on the pulse of animal health and agricultural updates from across the country.  The views and opinions expressed here are my own and in no way represent any employer or organization.  The internet can be a tricky place, links change, photos move or are not given proper credit; if you find any of these problems on my pages, please feel free to let me know so credit can be given where due.  Thanks for visiting, as this blog grows, I hope anyone who visits it will be entertained to some degree and take something useful away with them.
